Skills Checkpoint for workers aged between 40 and 70
Specifically designed for workers aged over 40, Skills Checkpoint for Older Workers (Skills Checkpoint) program provides eligible Australians with assessment, advice, and guidance on transitioning into new roles within their current industry or pathways to a new career. This includes referrals to relevant education and training options to get you there.
Even better, if you are eligible you may be able to access up to $2,200 (GST inclusive) to fund your education and training.
Eligibility criteria include that you must be:
- aged 40 years or over (previously 45–70),
- an Australian citizen or permanent resident,
- not registered for assistance through an Australian Government employment services program.
Delivered across Australia by leading employment and training provider, BUSY At Work, the program is tailored to your individual needs, ensuring that you can learn the skills to stay in the industry you’re in or find a new pathway, if required.
