CPP41119 Certificate IV in Home Energy Efficiency & Sustainability

CPP41212 to CPP41119 Transition

Nationally Recognised Training

The Certificate IV in NatHERS Assessment CPP41212 has now been superseded by Certificate IV in Home Energy Efficiency and Sustainability CPP4119.

NatHERS accredited assessors holding the qualification CPP41212 Certificate IV in NatHERS Assessment now have the opportunity to upgrade and transition to the new CPP41119 Certificate IV in Home Energy Efficiency and Sustainability qualification with Education in Building.

Education In Building is proud to announce it is the only Registered Training Organisation offering this new qualification throughout Australia

Whilst this is not a mandatory requirement to maintain accreditation there are a number of benefits in transitioning to the new qualification. EIB has identified there are many features in this new qualification that will assist thermal performance assessor in the use of any of the NatHERS accredited software tools.

The major inclusions of the new upgrade are two level 5 units.

• CPPHES5002 Conduct thermal performance assessment of complex residential buildings

• CPCCSV5013A Apply principles of energy efficient design to buildings

Both of these units are quite detailed and require the participants to model a complex building using NatHERS accredited software. EIB is confident that this will increase the skills level of Accredited Assessors.

EIB has included the unit CPCCSV5013A as selected from a current accredited course and contributes to a valid, industry-supported vocational outcome and maintains the AQF level of this qualification.

EIB provides an easy pathway for candidates to transition from the previous CPP41212 qualification to the latest CPP41119 Certificate IV in Home Energy Efficiency and Sustainability.

By undertaking this transition NatHERS Accredited Assessors will also earn 12 CPD points in the technical category. Assessors are advised to check with their chosen AAO for the acceptance of these points. Not all AAOs will accept CPD for this training.
