NatHERS Training Designed for Working Professionals

NatHERS House Energy Ratings use advanced computer simulations to measure the thermal comfort and energy efficiency of Australian homes, rating them on a zero to ten star scale. The higher the star rating, the more comfortable the home—and the less reliance occupants have on artificial heating and cooling throughout the year.

NatHERS assessments play a critical role in residential construction and design. Achieving the required star rating is recognised under the National Construction Code (NCC) as one of the key pathways for demonstrating compliance with mandatory energy efficiency and thermal performance requirements for new homes and apartments.

To complete a NatHERS assessment, accredited assessors use specialist software. There are four NatHERS accredited software tools, each with its own interface, workflow, and modelling strengths. Choosing the right software depends on your experience, the type of projects you work on, and how you prefer to model energy performance.
